At Moriyama we inherit a lot of Umbraco sites with large amounts of content - and related performance problems. At CodeGarden - the official Umbraco conference- last year, we presented on delegating workloads from your web server to serverless processing using the Azure service bus and Azure functions. We often use this technique in more complex Umbraco sites - enabling the web servers to focus on serving up pages to your visitor.
