The Brief

Door2Tour approached Moriyama to help re-engineer their system for indexing storing and managing coach tours and other holidays from a number of providers.

The solution needed to scale to store 1000’s more tours and providers than their previous system could and to provide fast search of millions of possible departures using geospatial algorithms

The Solution

Moriyama designed and built a platform to continuously ingest and index Tours from the providers as well as providing a framework for rapidly adding new feeds.

Holiday search can now be performed across millions of departures allowing a customer to find departures from their doorstep with ease.

The Outcome

Door2Tour.com was re-launched powered by the Moriyama tour indexing solution and the site continues to show a steady increase in conversion rate.
